Jeanine Meyer enjoys writing books on computing, mathematics and related subjects, and everything is related. She likes making family photos and videos and interests such as origami and quizzes the focus of projects and hopes that inspires readers to build their projects on topics that are meaningful to them. Jeanine worked at IBM Research in robotics and manufacturing and then joined academia, now at Purchase College/SUNY. She earned degrees from the University of Chicago, Columbia University and New York University. Her hobbies (besides programming and origami) include learning piano, walking, cooking and eating, and volunteering for progressive candidates and causes.
